is a 300SE driven by Juan Stanglmaier of Mexico City, Mexico during the
Carrera Panamericana 2000. Shown here right before one of the special stages.
The car had a stock engine, 5 speed manual and coil suspension. They finished
4th in their class behind 3 prepared Porsche 911's.
This
is another 300SE, belonging to Helmar Broich in Germany. This picture is
during the 1999 Carrera Panamericana, the car has run this race twice and
also ran the Panama Alaska Rally and the tour de France, among others. It
has an AMG prepared engine, 5 speed, coil suspension and 300 6.3 brakes.
The 1966 230 SL owned and raced by Mike Haney in Mexico at La Carrera Panamericana in 2001 & 2002.
